Yoga retreat

Namaste!

La Vida Activa, in cooperation with experienced and certified yoga teacher Kirsten de Witte, together with Villa Red Sunset, are offering an active and relaxing week. During this week, we will focus on creating a balance between body and mind through yoga, mediation, massage, reiki and the famous Tabacón hot springs.

The location will be at the shores of the biggest lake of Costa Rica, Lake Arenal. Start the morning off with an energetic yoga practice that will be created to fit each individual. During the day, get a massage, take a guided walk through the forests, visit the famous volcanic heated hot springs or just relax by the pool. Several activities are included in the cost of the trip. We will end the days with a restorative evening practice and meditation so we will be able to sleep with a serene spirit.

The group will be small to provide the best personal attention. The yoga sessions are focused on the beginner/ intermediate level but also the more experienced yogi will be challenged thanks to the experienced teachers. Most activities will be outdoors so the program will be flexible to weather circumstances. The organic, vegetarian cuisine is balanced to assist during the yoga sessions. A yoga mat is included. This you can take home after the retreat.

Villa Red Sunset provides all comfort you need. The mansion is situated on a unique location with a magnificent view of Lake Arenal, the Arenal volcano and Lake Coter. Amenities include a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, private chef, library and organic gardens. All rooms are uniquely decorated with a personal atmosphere and a private bathroom.

The program is 8 days and of course we will be more than happy to design an additional program for you if you wish to extend your stay. Costa Rica offers the most beautiful beaches, National Parks, coffee valleys and the turtles of Tortuguero.

If you would like to book a single room there will be an extra charge of $225. There is one room available with a private Jacuzzi this room can be booked for an additional cost of $150 per person (in case of double occupancy). Please make you preferences clear at your booking.
